Genetic Drift In Old Strains

[justicebzwieg]

A strain name from the nineties does not guarantee the same plant today, since lines get worked, crossed, and occasionally lost over decades. Two vendors selling Northern Lights may be offering genetics that share little beyond the name. Lineage notes on https://potentthcseeds.com trace which current versions descend from documented cuts and which are reconstructions from unrelated stock. If a classic strain matters to you, buy from the breeder who has kept the cut rather than a new imitation.
