Backcrossing Your Own Line

[justicebzwieg]

Making your own CBD seed is doable at home if you are patient, and it mostly comes down to picking one good female and crossing back to her for a few generations. Each backcross tightens the ratio and the plant shape, but it also concentrates any hidden weakness, so hermie tendency and mould susceptibility need watching. The step by step breeding walkthrough on https://calmcbdseeds.com covers pollen collection and isolating a single branch, which is the part people get wrong. Expect three or four seasons before anything is worth sharing.
